President Trump has a complicated relationship with Fox News.
On this day, it took a turn for the worse.
And Trump took the gloves off after this Fox News host took the wrong side.
Trump Slams Shannon Bream
Trump blasted Fox News Sunday host Shannon Bream for her negative coverage of a rogue court halting construction on the East Wing renovations to build a new ballroom and underground military complex.
Trump posted on Truth Social that Bream presented a misleading portrayal of the project.
“During Shannon Bream’s show, they showed pictures of the Military Complex/Ballroom site at the White House. Unfortunately, the pictures were months old, before much work had been started. Now the hardest work is substantially complete, with work on the roof/DronePort to begin very shortly,” Trump added.
Trump showed his frustration by unfavorably comparing Bream to Chris Wallace, the liberal, anti-Trump host that Bream replaced.
“Why didn’t Shannon Bream, “Milktoast” to her friends, show the updated pictures instead of ones that were so old and irrelevant? Her show, Fox News Sunday, is so biased against MAGA, “TRUMP,” and Republicans, that it is ridiculous! Even Chris Wallace was better, and he was really bad (WHERE IS CHRIS WALLACE?),” Trump added.
Trump also took issue with Fox’s polls, which historically favor Democrats, showing Democrats leading in every key Senate race.
“Also, she, Brett B, and others, should stop showing Fake Polls — They’re just embarrassing themselves. It reminds me of the November 5, 2024 Presidential Election, just prior to winning IN A LANDSLIDE, including 7 out of 7 Swing States, the Popular Vote, 86% of the Counties, and the Electoral College, 312 to 226!” Trump concluded.
What Set Trump Off
Trump took issue with Bream’s line of questioning to Attorney General Todd Blance.
Bream read from the court decision halting the ballroom construction, saying the ruling “doesn’t necessarily mean the defendants may not ultimately construct the ballroom. What it does mean is that the defendants may not do so during the district court’s expeditious litigation without securing Congress’s authorization as the Constitution and laws require.”
“Why not just go to Congress?” Bream wondered.
“We don’t believe we have to go to Congress,” Blanche replied. “We believe Congress has already given us the authority to do what we’re doing. Many presidents have done a tremendous amount of work to the White House, as they should, and Congress has authorized them to do so. So we have a fundamental disagreement with those two judges.”
The White House Upkeep statute allows the President to renovate the building without new authorization from Congress.
The National Park Service Statute empowers the President to manage historic federal property, including the White House, without new Congressional legislation.
The judges who ruled against Trump’s ballroom know this.
So does Bream.
Trump, and many of his supporters, believe resistance judges are getting away with lawless rulings because reporters like Bream aren’t highlighting the judicial coup these outlaw justices are staging against Trump simply because they are enraged that Trump won the 2024 election.
