Fauci Pleads the Fifth 111 Times
Dr. Fauci refused to answer any questions from Republicans about his role in COVID lockdowns, mask mandates, vaccine development, or potentially helping to create COVID by funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.
Fauci pled the Fifth 111 times, a move made all the more suspicious by the fact that Joe Biden issued a last-minute pardon to Fauci before leaving office.
Tens of millions of Americans were outraged over it looking like Fauci would dodge accountability for helping to perpetrate the great attacks on American liberty in history when he helped mastermind closing businesses, shutting down schools, forcing masking, and mandating a controversial and potentially dangerous vaccine.
One of those upset individuals was former CBS News journalist Brittney Hopper, who told Australia’s News24 that CBS took off the air during the pandemic for questioning the effectiveness of mask mandates and school closures.
“I have so much to say because this was during the time when I was on CBS News. I was reporting extensively on COVID,” Hopper stated. “I was out there on the front lines. And I remember after a couple of years of dealing with hearing this man and interviewing this man and having to wear masks and having our kids out of school for years, I remember questioning what he was doing. And I got in trouble and pulled off air for a couple of days because I started questioning him.
“You weren’t supposed to question the agenda and the narrative at that point. And I apologized, and I went back on air covering what I was supposed to do as I’ve mentioned before on here. I was their puppet on mainstream media for so many years. Hopefully, more and more people are waking up to, you know, really, the lack of journalistic integrity that we’re seeing.,” Hopper added.
The Media’s Fauci Protection Racket
During the pandemic, the media treated Fauci as a God-like figure whose every decree must be obeyed and who could never be questioned.
Much of the media’s Fauci worship stemmed from the fact that the press wanted to use COVID to defeat Trump in the 2020 election, so Fauci’s demands for lockdowns were treated as settled science by the press to scare voters into thinking Trump wanted to kill them out of desperation to restart the economy.
Hopper said the coverage of Fauci during the pandemic served as a cautionary tale about the media abandoning journalistic integrity since it quickly became apparent that Fauci’s COVID restrictions were just made up as opposed to being based on real data and science.
“I hope that this is somewhat of a wake-up call for news organizations around the world,” Hopper continued. “The six feet apart thing that he made up, wearing masks outside with not a single soul around us, you know, there were so many questions that were left unanswered and … let me give him the benefit of the doubt.
“That first year, many of us — we had no idea what was going on, but then when we started to learn more and more and started to really use journalistic integrity, which maybe that’s just been thrown out the window … news agencies jumped on the bandwagon with him and just feared so many Americans,” Hopper concluded.
