Tucker Carlson’s podcast sits at the top of the charts.
But Carlson could soon be sitting somewhere much more uncomfortable.
And that’s because the Deep State put Tucker Carlson on one scary list that could land him in jail.
The Trump administration’s new counter terrorism strategy lists narco-terrorists, Islamist terrorists, and “Violent Left-Wing Extremists” as its three main priorities.
Drug cartels and radical Islamic terrorists are obvious foreign threats.
The left is the number one source of political violence in America, as evidenced by the Charlie Kirk assassination and the repeated attempts on President Trump’s life.
But the deep state is attempting to expand the definition of domestic terrorists to conservatives.
Breitbart editor-in-chief Alex Marlow asked Senior Director for Counterterrorism, Sebastian Gorka, if anyone on the political right fit the definition of a domestic extremist.
“Let’s come back to right-wing extremism. Do you regard it as a threat at all?” Marlow asked Gorka. “I mean, is there any? I guess that’s the question. I’m assuming there’s a little bit because it’s a big country, there’s a little bit of everything, but is there really anything?”
Gorka admitted there was no comparison as left-wing political violence was an epidemic in America.
“Right now, we are not seeing comparable trend lines to violence on the right as we see on the left,” Gorka began.
But then Gorka singled out Carlson and right-wing commentator Nick Feuntes as two individuals on the right who would fall under the category of domestic terrorists because Gorka claimed they provided aid and comfort to America’s enemies.
“It’s up to people like you. I’m not a political analyst anymore; I’m a counterterrorism government employee, but we need an effective, accurate snapshot of who is part of the conservative movement today. I would say to you, I’m not sure that Nick Fuentes or Tucker Carlson are conservatives. If you are lauding Sharia law, if you are saying that there are Muslim states that seem to be better qualitatively than America in terms of freedom and prosperity, I’m not sure that means you’re part of the conservative movement,” Gorka stated.
Gorka then claimed Carlson was no longer part of the conservative movement and falsely claimed that Carlson promoted violence, which justified him being labeled as a domestic terrorist.
“So if you remove those individuals and you understand that they’re not conservatives, what’s left? Who are the people in the mainstream of the conservative movement, Alex, who are saying violence is okay? Hard to find people who aren’t fringe figures,” Gorka added.
“Domestic extremist” is the slur Joe Biden tagged Trump supporters with following January 6, which the administration then cited as the justification for the lawfare waged against Trump and his voters.
Tucker Carlson broke with President Trump over the war with Iran.
But Carlson told Megyn Kelly he didn’t regret voting for Trump in 2024 because Kamala Harris was incompetent and supported abortion on demand even after birth.
Journalist Ken Klippenstein, who broke the story about Gorka’s remarks, warned that the deep state was now trying to classify political opinions as domestic extremism.
“I’m an absolutist when it comes to free speech, for the right and the left (and anyone inside or outside that spectrum). Gorka, as a government official, has no business sticking his nose into whether people define America in the same way he does,” Klippenstein wrote on his Substack. “And let’s be real: none of this is actually about extremism. It’s about the fact that Carlson, like Fuentes, recently broke with Trump — bitterly — over the Iran War. That’s the real offense.”
