Megyn Kelly campaigned for President Trump and supports his administration.
Kelly delivered some blunt talk to those whom she thought led President Trump astray.
And Megyn Kelly went nuclear and demanded heads roll over this ugly plot against Trump
Megyn Kelly strongly supports President Trump, but also opposes the war in Iran.
Kelly didn’t agree with the decision to go to war in Iran, fearing the operation could lead to another prolonged conflict in the Middle East, as well as the fact that she thought the war benefited Israel’s interests and not America’s.
With reports that Trump is now considering ordering ground troops into Iran, the risk of escalation is front and center.
But beyond her philosophical opposition to the war, Kelly grew concerned about new poll numbers taking a toll on President Trump’s popularity and the Republican Party’s ability to defend its Congressional majorities in the November election.
NEW: Quantus Insights National Poll | March 27
The national mood is uneasy: voters are negative on the direction of the country, Trump remains underwater, Democrats hold the edge on the generic ballot, and the public is clearly wary of deeper escalation with Iran.📊 Trump Job… pic.twitter.com/NKYZsKvaY7

Kelly told listeners to her podcast that the main voices on the right pushing for war in Iran should face consequences if the conflict drags down President Trump and the GOP in November.
Naming names, Kelly said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, RINO Senator Lindsey Graham, and Fox News commentators retired general Jack Keane and Marc Thiessen were among the worst offenders.
“As this thing goes south, we need to know exactly who talked him into it and what representations were made to convince the president that this was a good idea. Who? Who specifically? The names we know are Bibi Netanyahu first and foremost. Lindsey Graham is equally to blame. We know from the Wall Street Journal report that Mark Thiessen of Fox News and General Jack Keane were major advocates of the war. Ok, I like those guys, but they appear to have been very wrong that this was a good idea,” Kelly began.
Kelly also called out Fox News host Mark Levin for pushing Trump to go to war.
“And we could keep going. Mark Levin, chief among them. He says now, “Oh, it wasn’t me.” Every night, every night on Fox News out there, urging the president to do this. And then he had a meeting with him in June, where we know, he denies it now, we know he pushed him for this,” Kelly added.
Kelly also called out podcaster Ben Shapiro for using his platform to demand that Trump go to war with Iran.
All of these war supporters, Kelly said, should face accountability for Trump’s falling poll numbers since they were the ones who sold Trump on the idea that a war with Iran would be a quick endeavor.
“Ben Shapiro was out on his show every day pushing this war. Like, some very prominent right-wing activists were practically frothing at the mouth over this thing. And now that it’s not only going poorly, but the president’s poll numbers are in a precipitous freefall, we’d love to see some accountability. Who? Who promised him what?” Kelly concluded.
President Trump could still end the war quickly and decisively.
But Kelly believes the war supporters misled Trump about the risks associated with taking military action against Iran.
