The View isn’t a show the audience tunes in to for reasoned political analysis.
But what just happened was over the top even for The View.
And The View just launched this unreal attack on Trump that will leave you red with rage.
The levels of Trump Derangement Syndrome infecting the cohosts from The View are off the charts.
Joy Behar flew off the deep end during a recent broadcast, comparing the second Trump administration and the decision to go to war in Iran to the Reign of Terror during the French Revolution.
“I feel like we’re living in the Reign of Terror. Am I the only one here to remember the French Revolution? I really feel like every day I wake up, he has created more chaos, more misery around the world. The economy is going down the toilet. Gas prices are going through the roof. World economies are suffering, and we’re in the middle of this. And I feel like we’re pretty much helpless to do anything because the Republican Party will not stand up to this fool. That’s all,” Behar ranted.
First of all, no one can “remember” the French Revolution since it took place between 1789 and 1799.
And comparing losing an election where the President then chose a different policy course of action than the one you support isn’t even in the same galaxy as the 17,000 French executed at the guillotine during the Reign of Terror.
No one called out Behar for her ridiculous comparison.
Instead, co-host Sunny Hostin then went on to falsely claim that Trump has no plan for the war in Iran.
“I don’t think he has a plan. I don’t even think he has concepts of a plan at this point,” Hostin stated.
Trump outlined his goals for the war, which were to degrade Iran’s military so it couldn’t threaten the United States and Israel and to prevent them from ever acquiring a nuclear weapon.
Hostin then attacked the Trump administration’s messaging on the Iran war.
“He’s saying there is no leader. Actually, the son of the former leader is considered far more right-wing and is now in charge. And I think these mixed messages really are going to ultimately affect the American people because it is estimated that this war that we started is costing the American people between $1-and-$2 billion a day,” Hostin added.
Ever since Donald Trump began running for President, the media have actually ended up aiding him by engaging in the most biased, histrionic coverage of Trump.
The more the media tried to convince Americans that Trump was comparable to history’s greatest monsters, the more Americans realized the press was treating him unfairly and decided to support him.
