Popular podcaster Joe Rogan’s endorsement of Donald Trump in the 2028 election proved pivotal.
But Rogan turned on Trump.
And Donald Trump is going to hate what Joe Rogan just said about MAGA.
Trump’s appearance on Joe Rogan’s show in the 2024 election drew over 45,000,000 views on YouTube and helped drive irregular voters, specifically young men, to the polls.
However, Rogan flipped on Trump in recent months.
Rogan complained that the Trump administration was too aggressive in carrying out mass deportations.
And Rogan claimed Trump supporters felt “betrayed” by Trump’s decision to go to war with Iran.
Rogan played a clip on his show of Hillary Clinton from her 2008 Presidential campaign, where she attempted to fake taking a hardline stance on illegal immigration.
“If they’ve committed a crime… deport them! No questions asked. You’re gone! If you want to become a citizen, you have to pay a stiff fine, pay back taxes, and learn English,” Clinton exclaimed.
“She’s more MAGA than MAGA,” Rogan declared in response.
Rogan then wrongly asserted that Hillary was “hardcore” on the border.
“Her take on the border was like hardcore,” Rogan added, “If you’ve been convicted of a crime, get out. If you stay here, you pay a stiff penalty, get in line, and have to learn English! And everyone cheers. Like, that is a hardcore right-wing 2026 perspective.”
Rogan was attempting to show how far the Democratic Party strayed on the issue of immigration since no Democrat would speak like that today.
Of course, what Rogan left out was that Clinton was just play-acting and she talked tough on the border because the reality was she supported a mass amnesty bill that would turn tens of millions of illegal aliens into Democrat voters.
Then the interview strayed into fiction.
Rogan’s guest, Bill Thompson, a former U.S. Army chief warrant officer, then falsely claimed that Barack Obama deported more illegal aliens than President Trump.
Rogan agreed. “Yes, absolutely,” Rogan stated. “And Obama deported more people than Trump did.”
Barack Obama created this fictitious persona of himself as the “Deporter in Chief” because his administration counted illegal aliens turned around at the border as a deportation.
The reality is that deportations, including self-deportations, surged under President Trump.
“In fact, total U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) apprehensions along the southwest border in the first year of the current administration (90,084) were less than the average monthly apprehensions during the Biden administration (155,485). USBP apprehensions over the last 12 months were the lowest ever recorded in CBP history (i.e., both Jan. 20-Jan.20 and Jan-Dec.)
In President Trump’s first year, USBP recorded 95% fewer encounters per day along the southwest border than during the Biden administration, with daily average encounters along the southwest border 1,936% higher during the Biden administration than during the first year of the current administration,” a statement from the Department of Homeland Security read.
Former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem also said that “In President Trump’s first year back in office, nearly 3 million illegal aliens have left the U.S. because of the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration, including an estimated 2.2 million self-deportations and more than 675,000 deportations.”
