Vice President J.D. Vance knew it was time for some straight talk.
Vance’s target audience was the MAGA movement.
And J.D. Vance says patriots are walking into a trap, and most don’t even know it.
During a trip to Hungary, Vice President Vance warned conservatives to resist the phenomenon of “black pilling.”
Black pilling is a term that gained popularity on social media for coming to believe that the system is rigged, and it’s impossible to improve the political conditions in America.
Some Trump supporters are upset over the war in Iran.
Others grew discouraged over the Epstein files.
Democrats are winning special election after special election because the Trump base isn’t turning out.
Polls show Democrats are more motivated to turn out in the midterm election than Republicans,
Vance told conservatives that disappointment was part of life and that if conservatives saw the administration taking an action they didn’t like, the right course of action wasn’t to disengage, but to advocate for a course correction.
“The piece of advice I’d give to you, and I give it to American students, American conservatives in particular, is resist the temptation to think that victory is immediate or that we’re gonna win back our civilization through instant gratification. I mean, this institution was founded in 1996. It’s far more influential than it was back then, but I think a lot of people, this is particularly true in the United States of America, if they see something that the administration does they don’t like,” Vance warned.
Giving up on voting and abandoning the Trump coalition wouldn’t serve to accomplish anything other than hand power to Democrats, who would then unleash a woke, socialist agenda on America.
“That’s the exact wrong response. If we do something you don’t like, the response should be to get more involved, to make your voice heard, and to try to push things in the direction that you want them to be pushed. Our civilization was not built overnight,” Vance added.
Vance went on to say that the left didn’t wreck America overnight, and winning one election wasn’t going to be enough to take the country back because this was a long ballgame.
“It’s not gonna be saved overnight. And so what I’d encourage you to do is stay involved, be patient, and don’t let disappointment turn to checking out of the system entirely. There’s way too much of that, I would say, in the Anglo system and the American system,” Vance continued.
Vance warned against “blackpilling,” telling conservatives that the left counted on despair to depress the Trump vote and that Trump supporters abandoning the field of play to the left was the surest way to lose America for good.
“There’s way too much, you know, I didn’t like this thing that the vice president said, or I didn’t like this thing that the president did, and I’m gonna completely check out. We call that blackpilling in the United States of America, and blackpilling is how you give power to the forces that are trying to destroy what our ancestors built. We need to take power back from those people and build the kind of institutions that can actually save our societies,” Vance remarked.
Vance reassured conservatives that victory was possible, but they shouldn’t fall into the trap of thinking the job was accomplished just because they won the 2024 election, since politics is a constant struggle and enemies never remain permanently defeated.
“It will not happen overnight. It will not happen in the term of one prime minister or one president, but it will happen so long as we keep our faith in God and we work hard to achieve it. That’s what we have to do,” Vance concluded.
