Fox News isn’t the network where audiences expect sympathetic Hillary Clinton coverage.
But that’s exactly what everyone who tuned in got to see.
And Fox News left viewers stunned into silence when this top star defended Hillary Clinton.
Hillary Clinton testified to the House Oversight Committee about her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein after Chairman James Comer (R-KY) threatened a criminal referral for contempt of Congress after months of Clinton stonewalling.
When Clinton testified, the most newsworthy moment came when she stormed out of the deposition after Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-CO) leaked a photo of Clinton before the committee to podcaster Benny Johnson.
“I’m done with this! If you guys are doing that, I am done! You can hold me in contempt from now until the cows come home,” Hillary ranted. “This is just typical behavior.”
“Oh, for heaven’s sake,” Clinton exclaimed as she slapped the table.
After former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was advised during her Epstein deposition that photos were being taken of her testimony and distributed publicly, she said:
“I’m done with this… You can hold me in contempt.”

Republicans were able to get the hearing back on track.
But the damage was done.
Instead of the story being the Clintons finally having to account for their links to Epstein, Fox News Channel’s Dana Perino claimed the leak turned Clinton into a sympathetic figure who looked like she got set up by attention seekers, especially since one of the ground rules for the deposition was no leaks while Clinton was testifying.
“I don’t blame her for getting mad. The Clintons asked for a public hearing, and they were denied a public hearing because [Republicans] wanted to do it behind closed doors because they were gonna get all of this great information. You can look at the tape. Is there great information that came out? But if you leak a photo to social media because that’s more important to you than adhering to the rules, then yeah, you are going to get slapped down like that,” Perino stated.
“For the Republicans, I would say there are a lot of problems in this country, pick your battles,” Perino added. “This isn’t one of them.”
