The liberals at CNN made it their mission to destroy President Trump.
When the dust settled, there was just one thing left to say.
And now CNN just said one word about Trump that is too important to ignore.
The Liberal Media’s Anti-Trump Narrative Collapses
The media narrative about President Trump is that he’s historically unpopular and losing his grip over the Republican-controlled Senate as RINOs revolt against his successful attempts to purge sellouts from the caucus.
Actual election results show that inside the Republican Party, President Trump has never been stronger.
CNN’s John King was forced to admit as much when Trump-endorsed challenger, Texas State Attorney General Ken Paxton, annihilated RINO incumbent John Cornyn by nearly 30 points in a runoff election.
King ticked off the stories that the media thinks should have sunk Trump by now, the Iran War and gas prices, and marveled at how Republican voters tuned out the noise to support Trump’s preferred candidate.
“If you look at this map, Kaitlin, we’ve talked about this before, you’ve talked about it with your smart panels in recent weeks, President Trump is incredibly weak nationally right now. His national poll numbers are down, he’s underwater, the Iran war is unpopular, gas prices are up. However, the president has shown yet again in Texas his power over the Republican base. Senator Cornyn graceful there as he heads for the exits. This is embarrassing for a veteran Republican incumbent. I’m old enough to remember when John Cornyn was a rising star in Texas politics two and a half, three decades ago,” King stated.
King expressed amazement that Cornyn was a four-term incumbent yet led in only 4 of Texas’s 254 counties, all because voters viewed Cornyn as an impediment to the Trump agenda.
“Tonight, Ken Paxton is getting 63% of the vote, has a 222,000 vote lead. The incumbent Republican senator getting just 37%. Perhaps that changes a little bit as the final votes come in, but thumping, shellacking, call it what you will, 254 counties in the giant state of Texas, more counties than any other state…one, two, three, four. Four of those counties John Cornyn is leading in the vote tonight,” King continued.
GOP Voters Rejected Establishment RINO John Cornyn
Cornyn supported gun control and amnesty, but he also claimed President Trump was unelectable and initially didn’t back President Trump’s push to eliminate the filibuster to pass the SAVE Act with a simple majority vote.
The refusal by Senate Republicans to pass the SAVE Act, Trump’s signature election integrity bill that mandated voter ID and proof of citizenship to register vote, dug Cornyn’s grave.
After the race was called for Paxton, Senate Republicans learned their lesson and quickly fell in line to back Trump’s candidate.
“James Talarico is one of the most radical candidates in the country. @KenPaxtonTX has my full support against him in November,” Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt posted on X.
“Congratulations to @KenPaxtonTX! I will do all I can to make sure he has a big win in November! He will be a great ally in helping us accomplish President Trump’s agenda,” Florida Senator Rick Scott wrote,
Cornyn’s fellow Texas Ted Cruz posted, “Congratulations to Attorney General Ken Paxton on tonight’s victory. He has my full support and endorsement as the Republican nominee. Ken is a fearless conservative who spent years taking on Texas’s toughest battles as Attorney General and has proven that he will always fight for and defend the Lone Star State.”
