The two talk regularly.
But now Bill O’Reilly has given Trump one shocking piece of advice that is too terrifying to consider.
O’Reilly Says Trump Should Escalate the Iran War
On a recent episode of his No Spin News podcast, O’Reilly delivered his analysis on how President Trump should proceed in the Iran War.
Trump is currently allowing a naval blockade to impose economic pressures he hopes will force Iran back to the negotiating table to open up the Strait of Hormuz and eliminate their nuclear weapons program.
O’Reilly believes Trump should wage total war and destroy all energy infrastructure in Tehran.
Following this advice, O’Reilly admitted, would get Trump “condemned all over the world.”
“I would single out targets in the capital of Tehran and give fair warning to the people who live in that city that we’re going to blow up your infrastructure. So, water, electricity, all of those things — boom. And I would say — in social media, and leaflets, or whatever you want to use — get out of there. I give the Persian people some [warning]. “Get out. It’s over. We’re not taking it anymore. Going to blow the infrastructure up in this city, and you’re going to have very hard time surviving,” O’Reilly stated.
“I think that if Trump did that, he’d be condemned all over the world. I believe that he would be, including the Democratic Party here. What’s the alternative? What is it?” O’Reilly added.
O’Reilly said the end result was worth it.
“Can’t let this nation have the nukes,” O’Reilly declared.
With gas prices high and the midterm election around the corner, O’Reilly claimed escalation was worth the risk to try and end the war.
“But something’s gotta give now. Time’s up, and that’s the memo,” O’Reilly concluded.
Trump’s Earlier Threats
O’Reilly’s call to render Tehran uninhabitable echoed a threat by Trump back in April to end Iranian civilization.
“A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“However, now that we have complete and total regime change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, who knows? We will find out tonight,” Trump concluded.
Iran eventually agreed to a ceasefire before the deadline for Trump to make good on this threat expired.
Trump admitted earlier that one reason he was giving diplomacy another chance was he didn’t want to end up like Herbert Hoover, since if the war continued it would cause global oil supplies to fall to such low levels that the price of gas would spike to a point that it would impose a worldwide recession.
Bombing Iran’s energy infrastructure would lead to Iran retaliating by wiping out oil refineries in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Bahrain and Qatar, pushing the price to over $200 a barrel and inflicting the economic calamity Trump sought to avoid.
That’s why Trump has repeatedly rejected advice like the kind O’Reilly offered.
