CNN’s dwindling audience tunes in to see hosts and guests ranting about President Trump.
This is not at all what anyone expected.
And a CNN host’s confession about Trump will leave you speechless.
Bombshell About Noncitizen Voting in New Jersey
New Jersey is one of 24 states that automatically registers individuals to vote when they receive a driver’s license.
New Jersey’s Democrat Governor Mickie Sherrill revealed this led to the state adding 6,600 noncitizens to the voter rolls.
“These individuals answered ‘no’ when asked on a keypad whether they were a U.S. citizen when applying for drivers’ licenses and identification cards, but through no fault of their own, the system registered them anyway,” Sherrill stated.
Sherrill claimed about 400 of these noncitizens ended up casting illegal ballots.
Journalist Mark Halperin appeared on CNN host Michael Smerconish’s Sirius XM show and said it was time for a nationwide investigation to discover the scope of how many states were adding noncitizens to the voting rolls through these automatic voter registration schemes.
“We have to take what she acknowledged happening, and now we have to build on it. There needs to be an independent investigation, because this is true, that it’s new and it illustrates what Republicans have warned about,” Halperin stated.
Smerconish Admits He Was Wrong
Ever since President Trump contested the 2020 election, it’s been an article of faith on CNN that Trump is a liar and conspiracy theorist when he alleges mass voter fraud.
Smerconish admitted he carried the water for that liberal media narrative.
“Yeah, I agree. It’s it’s wipe the slate clean and let’s see where the the facts lead us. There was a an analysis in The Times in January on which I relied January of 2026. Initial review finds no widespread illegal voting by migrants puncturing a Trump claim,” Smerconish stated,
Smerconish went on to say, “And I remember discussing this at length, having guests on to talk about it and then coming to the conclusion that you referenced, this doesn’t happen. I can’t say that any longer.
But these new developments led Smerconish to confess that he was wrong and there was truth to Trump’s assertions.
“I don’t know how often it does happen, but I can’t say any longer this never happens,” Smerconish concluded.
Halperin replied that he covered the story as a journalist and now it was time to get to the bottom of just how badly Democrats compromised American elections through schemes that allowed noncitizens to slip onto the voter rolls.
“And just as I’ve been critical of Republicans before yesterday who have overstated the extent of our knowledge about how often it happens, I was critical of Democrats and who said this never happens. There’s no need to investigate it and and kind of taunted Republicans,” Halperin declared.
“What yesterday demonstrates is Republicans have, were right that say we need to find out the truth of these things,” Halperin remarked.
