Randy Fine Goes Rogue
Florida Representative Randy Fine stunned conservatives by voting against a rule to add the SAVE Act, the centerpiece of President Trump’s election integrity agenda, to a must-pass defense bill.
Adding the SAVE Act to this legislation is the only way to force the Senate to pass this critical legislation.
Fine wouldn’t explain why he tried to sabotage the SAVE Act’s passage other than he was throwing a hissy fit over an unspecified family feud within the GOP.
“Sometimes we’ve got disputes inside the family that need to get sorted out, and it’s something I’m working out with the team, and hopefully we’ll get it sorted out soon,” Fine said in an interview with the Daily Caller.
“I could, but I’m not,” Fine added. “I generally try not to air grievances inside the family in public.”
Fine’s Objection Revealed
It later emerged that Fine told the White House he would vote against every rule bringing legislation to the floor, passing a rule on how a bill is the only way a majority can bring legislation up for a vote, until Trump fired social media advisor Alex Bruesewitz.
“On Tuesday, Fine was the sole Republican to vote against the rule laying out how the House will proceed on certain bills this week. Two sources familiar with the matter relayed to NOTUS that Fine told the White House he plans to vote against every rule until Trump fires Bruesewitz, who is not a White House employee but has the president’s ear,” NOTUS reported.
Fine is one of the most ardent Israel supporters in Congress, and Fine flew off the handle over Bruesewitz appearing on Tucker Carlson’s podcast and exposing how the Israeli government paid former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale’s firm $1.5 million a month to organize an online influencer campaign which included attacking President Trump and Vice President JD Vance attempting to negotiate an end to the war in Iran.
Time Magazine reported that Israel contracted with “Clock Tower X, to conduct a digital campaign on behalf of the State of Israel, according to Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) filings reviewed by TIME. Under the agreement, Parscale’s operation would produce 100 original pieces of content each month, with at least 80% aimed at Gen Z audiences across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and podcasts. In a Services Agreement draft included in the filing, Parscale also pledged to amplify the campaign across social media and through “integration of narrative messaging into Salem Media Network properties and aligned distribution channels,” referring to the Christian conservative broadcasting and publishing company where he serves as Chief Strategy Officer. Parscale vowed the effort would produce at least 50 million digital impressions per month, as well as influence how AI tools such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic’s Claude, and Google’s Gemini characterized Israel and the war. For all this, Israel agreed to pay Clock Tower X $1.5 million per month.”
Parscale registered as a foreign agent of the Israeli government, and Parscale allegedly enlisted social media influencers to attack Trump and Vance on behalf of Israel, which led to major questions about the influence of foreign money and governments in American politics.
