The Democrat Party ran President and Melania Trump through the lawfare winger.
One of the legal schemes to ruin Melania reached its endgame.
And Melania Trump’s life changed forever after a federal judge said one startling word.
Lawfare Ends in Failure
Manhattan Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil threw out a lawsuit filed by left-wing journalist Michael Wolff, author of anti-Trump books “Fire and Fury,” “Siege,” “Landslide,” and “All or Nothing.”
Judge Vyskocil blasted the suit as “contorted” and “not how the federal courts work.”
Wolff sued Melania Trump to try to stop her from filing a $1 billion defamation lawsuit after Wolff falsely claimed that Jeffrey Epstein introduced her to Trump.
Melania’s lawyer, Alejandro Brito, wrote Wolff a letter demanding he apologize and prepare to pay damages.
Brito explained that after Wolff’s comments, Melania Trump was “left with no alternative” but to sue Wolff for over $1 billion in damages for “overwhelming reputational and financial harm” caused by Wolff’s comments.
Wolff argued that the lawsuit was an attempt “to silence their speech, to intimidate their critics generally, and to extract unjustified payments and North Korean-style confessions and apologies,”
The lawsuit went on to claim that Melania’s threats of a defamation suit “are designed to create a climate of fear in the nation so that people cannot freely or confidently exercise their First Amendment rights.”
Why Melania Trump Threatened to Sue
What started this fight were comments Wolff made on Daily Beast chief content officer Joanna Coles for The Daily Beast Podcast.
“[Melania] was very involved in this Epstein relationship. There is this model thing, and she’s introduced by a model agent, both of whom Trump and Epstein are involved with. She’s introduced to Trump that way, Epstein knows her well,” Wolff alleged.
The Daily Beast later retracted an article about the comments and issued an editor’s note, which amounted to an admission that the site couldn’t defend the article.
“Editor’s Note. After this story was published, The Beast received a letter from First Lady Melania Trump’s attorney challenging the headline and framing of the article. After reviewing the matter, the Beast has taken down the article and apologizes for any confusion or misunderstanding,” the editor’s note read.
This was a major win for Melania Trump against the efforts of the leftist media to smear her with Epstein allegations.
The First Lady Goes on Offense
Melania vowed in April to go on the offensive against the plot to tar her as some kind of Epstein collaborator.
“The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today,” Melania Truup declared during a press conference. “The individuals lying about me are devoid of ethical standards, humility, and respect. I do not object to their ignorance, but rather I reject their mean-spirited attempts to defame my reputation.”
When President Trump declared the Epstein files a “Democrat hoax,” this is what he meant, which is that Democrats would hurl every falsehood they could dream up about Trump and Epstein in the hopes of muddying him up with imaginary scandals.
