Louisiana Senator John Kennedy saw Barack Obama do something he didn’t care for at all.
Kennedy knew there was only one thing left to say.
And John Kennedy told Barack Obama to get a motel room with this other man.
In an interview that showed a complete lack of irony and self-awareness, Barack Obama whined to CBS late-night host Stephen Colbert that President Trump threatened democracy by supposedly directing the Department of Justice to prosecute the Democrats who engineered the Russia collusion hoax and rigged the 2020 election.
“Well, there are a couple that I followed even though they weren’t law, and we’re going to have to do some work to return to this basic norm, and we probably now have to codify it. The White House shouldn’t be able to direct the attorney general to go around prosecuting whoever the president wants prosecuted, right?” Obama complained.
“Two of the core principles of a democracy, we can survive a lot of bad policy, funky elections, there’s a bunch of stuff that, you know, we can overcome. We can’t overcome the politicization of the criminal justice system. The awesome power of the state. You can’t have a situation in which whoever’s in charge of the government starts using that to go after their political enemies or reward their friends,” Obama added.
Obama’s comments were hard to swallow for many Americans, as Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified documents showing that in December 2016, Obama ordered the FBI and other intelligence community agencies to orchestrate the Russia collusion hoax.
The FBI began spying on Donald Trump’s Presidential campaign during the Obama administration.
And Obama cheered Democrat prosecutors Jack Smith, Fani Willis, and Alvin Bragg, scheming to meddle in the 2024 election and jail Trump on baseless charges to keep him out of the White House.
Appearing on Fox News host Will Cain’s show, Senator Kennedy expressed his disgust with what he saw, snarking that Colbert and Obama should “get a motel room” since Colbert never pushed back on Obama’s ridiculous assertions.
“I also got a kick out of Mr. Colbert. He and President Obama are obviously best buds,” Kennedy stated. “Maybe they ought to get a motel room or something. They were just fawning all over each other.”
Kennedy went on to say that Colbert’s softball interview was indicative of why Colbert turned The Late Show into a giant money loser for CBS by running off the audience with his partisan cheerleading.
“I don’t have anything against Mr. Colbert. I’ve always thought that he was as shallow as a puddle. Now, he doesn’t believe that. He thinks he’s one of the smartest people on the planet. Don’t take my word for it, ask him. His personal vanity has always been unshakeable. But his problem is not his vanity or his intelligence. It’s his numbers,” Kennedy added.
Eventually, the dollars didn’t make sense, and Kennedy said CBS canceled Colbert.
“He was losing CBS, $40 million a year, because nobody was watching, so CBS told him to sit his ass down, and they said, You’re fired,” Kennedy concluded.
