Fox News host Mark Levin likes to present himself as President Trump’s closest ally.
But Levin just flipped on Trump on a dime.
And now Mark Levin just attacked Trump by hurling this unreal two-word accusation.
Fox News host Mark Levin is the number one media supporter of the war with Iran.
Levin lobbied President Trump to go to war and has compared the battle against Iran to the one against Nazi Germany, arguing that the war with Iran was “every bit as important as World War II.”
But President Trump wanted a limited objective to deny Iran a nuclear weapon, whereas Levin sought a regime change war similar to Iraq and even spent an episode describing the legal case for America’s use of nuclear weapons against Japan in 1945, which many saw as Levin implicitly urging Trump to choose that path and nuke Iran.
Trump seeks to avoid an endless war and has tried to negotiate a deal with Iran to end the conflict.
In a Truth Social post, Trump revealed that the terms of the deal were set and that if Iran followed through on an agreement, the war would end.
“Assuming Iran agrees to give what has been agreed to, which is, perhaps, a big assumption, the already legendary Epic Fury will be at an end, and the highly effective Blockade will allow the Hormuz Strait to be OPEN TO ALL, including Iran. If they don’t agree, the bombing starts, and it will be, sadly, at a much higher level and intensity than it was before. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump wrote.
Axios reported that the deal included Iran stopping uranium enrichment for a period of time and opening the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for the U.S. ending the naval blockade and lifting economic sanctions in a phased process.
“Among other provisions, the deal would involve Iran committing to a moratorium on nuclear enrichment, the U.S. agreeing to lift its sanctions and release billions in frozen Iranian funds, and both sides lifting restrictions around transit through the Strait of Hormuz.
Many of the terms laid out in the memo would be contingent on a final agreement being reached, leaving the possibility of renewed war or an extended limbo in which the hot war has stopped but nothing is truly resolved,” Axios reported.
Levin flew off the handle because this deal accomplished President Trump’s goal of taking Iran’s nuclear threat off the board, but it stopped short of Levin’s regime change fantasy.
In a post on X, Levin, who was Never Trump in 2016 and opposed Trump in 2024, showed his true colors, attacking Trump’s proposed deal as a “disastrous result.”
“I have to believe the Axios report is largely fake,” Levin posted. “If the Axios report is close to accurate, the Iranian regime will survive, the Iranian people will face even more extensive brutality, and the Israeli government could fall in the October election. A disastrous result.”
Pro-war radio host Hugh Hewitt also turned on Trump and accused him of sabotaging his own legacy.
“Talking with John Podhoretz right now (and it will post at my YouTube channel later), and the 14-point “deal” is a disaster unfolding in real time. I can’t believe President Trump will agree to anything that destroys the greatest achievement of his presidency,” Hewitt posted on social media.
President Trump’s job is to put America first.
Levin and Hewitt have other goals in mind.
And they are flipping out over President Trump attempting to follow through on his promise to avoid debacles like the Iraq War.
