Not a day goes by that someone in the liberal media doesn’t decry President Trump as a racist, fascist, Nazy, or a threat to democracy.
After the third attempt by a leftist who believed all the lies to try to murder Trump in public at the White House Correspondents Association Dinner, journalist Mark Halperin told the press it was time to tend to its own house before attacking Trump.
Halperin said that the center often the electorate no longer buys into the press shrieking about Trump tearing the First Amendment to shreds because he had dinner with CBS News chief Bari Weiss, because of all the press scandals involving coverage of hoaxes designed to end Trump’s presidency or rig elections.
“We don’t have standing to say Bari Weiss and Tom Cibrowski shouldn’t have dinner with the president. We don’t have standing with not just MAGA, we don’t have standing with a lot of fair-minded people in America who voted for Donald Trump in part because of this, and you heard that on this platform for a long time,” Halperin stated.
Halperin explained that the press never admitted that it dove headfirst into the Russia collusion hoax and covering up Joe Biden’s loss of mental acuity for the same reason – to hurt Donald Trump and either evict him from the White House or prevent his return as key hurdles the press faced to ever regaining the trust of the American people.
“The lack of accountability on Russiagate, the lack of accountability on the loss of Joe Biden’s mental acuity, not just the failure to cover the story right initially, but the failure to acknowledge the errors and to really examine how two such colossal failures of professional malpractice by almost every major news organization in the country, until we’re willing to give a full accounting of how that could happen and reasonable assurances that it won’t happen again,” Halperin added.
Halperin said that even he, a member of the media for decades, can’t take the liberal media’s complaints about Trump seriously because of the refusal on the part of the press to admit allowing its hatred of Donald Trump to corrupt its coverage
“It’s very difficult for many people in America, including me, to take seriously saying, ‘ Oh my goodness, what a scandal that they’re having dinner with the president of the United States. So it concludes that topic,” Halperin concluded.
