President Trump faced a third potential assassination attempt in less than two years.
The left’s reaction became a story.
Democrats just made this shocking confession about the attempt on Trump’s life.
The Secret Service fell asleep on the job when two leftist gunmen tried to kill Trump in 2024.
Secret Service agents allowed a gunman to climb onto a rooftop with a clear shot at Trump during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July 2024.
Two months later, the Secret Service never noticed a gunman setting up a sniper’s nest at one of Trump’s golf courses, where he camped out for hours waiting to try to kill Trump.
Now, at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, a gunman gained access to the lobby of the hotel hosting the event with President Trump in attendance.
The gunman, a donor to Democrats, attempted to storm the ballroom before law enforcement prevented him from opening fire on Trump or anyone else.
Even Democrats were appalled at the security lapses.
“No security screening was required to enter an event featuring the President of the United States, the Speaker of the House, Cabinet Secretaries, and Members of Congress?” Democrat Congressman Ritchie Torres posted on X.
“This failure of even the most basic security protocols—as inexplicable as it is inexcusable—demands an immediate investigation,” Torres added.
MSNOW host Symone Sanders recounted the poor security at the event.
“I actually showed up to the Hilton shortly after 8 P.M., and I actually took a scooter right up to the front of the Hilton driveway. And this matters because, as you know, usually there’s a lot of protesters outside that’s outside of those barricades before you can actually enter the driveway of the Hilton,” Sanders began.
Sanders marveled at how easy it was to gain access to the hotel lobby.
“But this year, there are no protesters outside. I found out the people were actually milling about in the lobby. When I got off the scooter and in front of the barricade, usually you have to show ID and a ticket,” Sanders added.
Sanders then revealed it wasn’t the Secret Service providing security at the gate and that she could just waltz right in without showing a ticket or ID to prove she belonged.
The folks, the security at the gate, these were not agents, the Secret Service agents. They were not identified as Secret Service agents, as far as I could see at the gate, but they did not ask me to show ID or a ticket. They said, ‘Oh, you’re good. I’m sure you’re going to your room.’ I am not staying at the Washington Hilton.
“As I entered the driveway, I saw the president’s vehicle. The Beast was driving around the Hilton driveway, and people were walking near it, taking photos. The Secret Service was not keeping a perimeter. And it went around about two or three times while I was outside,” Sanders added.
Sanders then said the Secret Service agents at the hotel didn’t even know where the ballroom was.
“When I entered the Hilton, I asked Secret Service agents, who I saw were identified as Secret Service agents, which way the ballroom was, and they said they didn’t know,” Sanders continued.
Sanders then recalled how she was able to gain access to the elevator and red carpet without showing a ticket.
“When I finally got my way onto the elevator, no one asked me to show ID. No one asked me to show a ticket. I got all the way down to the red carpet area without ever showing a ticket to anyone in the Hilton,” Sanders went on to say.
“I am saying it like this because this is unusual,” Sanders concluded.
MS NOW host Symone Sanders Townsend recounts how poor security was at the WHCD. She says she was able to roll up to the front door on a scooter and security did not ask to see her ID nor see her ticket, they assumed she was a guest at the hotel:

This is now the third gunman who got into Trump’s presence.
Poor security was a common denominator in all three instances.
Americans are demanding answers.
