The UFO stories coming out of the U.S. government grow stranger by the day.
But there is one that is disturbing Americans above all others.
And Karoline Leavitt’s answer about 10 dead and missing scientists left Peter Doocy speechless.
Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked press secretary Karoline Leavitt about the strange story of 10 American scientists tied to top-secret nuclear or aerospace programs going missing over the last two years.
“There are now 10 American scientists who have either gone missing or died since mid-2024. They all reportedly had access to classified nuclear or aerospace material. Is anybody investigating this to see if these things are connected?” Doocy wondered.
Leavitt gave a non-answer, which only raised more eyebrows.
“I’ve seen the report, Peter,” Leavitt began.
“I haven’t spoken to our relevant agencies about it. I will certainly do that, and we’ll get you an answer. If true, of course, that’s definitely something I think this government and administration would deem worth looking into. So let me do that for you,” Leavitt added.
Newsweek recently published a story about the missing scientists,
The outlet wrote about that a new “report has highlighted that Michael David Hicks, a longtime NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) scientist involved in asteroid and comet research, died in 2023 with no public cause of death disclosed, marking the ninth case in a growing list of deaths or disappearances of U.S. experts in advanced space, defense, and nuclear fields in recent years.”
Newsweek reported that the list of dead or missing scientists is:
July 4, 2024—Frank Maiwald: A NASA JPL researcher who died in Los Angeles at age 61, with no cause of death disclosed.
May 4, 2025—Anthony Chavez: A former Los Alamos National Laboratory employee who vanished.
June 22, 2025—Monica Reza: A NASA scientist who went missing during a hike in the Angeles National Forest, reportedly disappearing just yards from others in her group.
June 26, 2025—Melissa Casias: A Los Alamos administrative assistant who disappeared from her residence; her mobile devices had been wiped.
December 12, 2025—Jason Thomas: A Novartis researcher who went missing, prompting a search that ended when his body was recovered from a lake on March 17, 2026.
December 15, 2025—Nuno Loureiro: The head of MIT’s Plasma Science and Fusion Center was fatally attacked at his home in Brookline, Massachusetts.
February 16, 2026—Carl Grillmair: An astrophysicist who was shot on his front porch during the early morning.
February 27, 2026—William Neil McCasland: A retired Air Force general who left his New Mexico home and has not been seen since
Newsweek noted the growing interest among lawmakers for an investigation and an explanation about how many American scientists with access to the most top-secret military programs have gone dead or missing.
“Authorities have not established any concrete connection among the cases, and there have been no public allegations of foul play in Hicks’ death, but some lawmakers have called for closer scrutiny as high-profile incidents—from a retired Air Force general’s disappearance to a leading astrophysicist’s killing—draw attention,” Newsweek added.
One of those lawmakers is Tennessee Republican Congressman Tim Burchett.
Burchett told reporters the scientists were part of something “dark” and said they were all connected to the government’s UFO programs.
“Something dark is going on. I know these scientists and researchers. They have testified. We’ve got to get to the bottom of it,” Burchett stated. “It’s just too much, too much is going on right now, and by the way, I’m not suicidal.”
“There have been several others throughout the country that have disappeared under suspicious circumstances. I think we ought to be paying attention to it,” Burchett added.
“The numbers seem very high in these certain areas of research. I think we’d better be paying attention, and I don’t think we should trust our government,”
Burchett concluded.
