Tucker Carlson faced a woke mob trying to end his career.
Carlson knew he only had one choice.
And Tucker Carlson went nuclear over this awful plot to ruin his life.
Ben Shapiro and other voices on the woke right fought a months-long battle to censor and cancel Carlson over Carlson’s opposition to a war with Iran.
Shapiro, Mark Levin, and others smeared Carlson as a Nazi-sympathizer and anti-semite because he questioned if the war was in America’s interests and because he interviewed controversial commentator Nick Fuentes.
Levin and Shapiro tried to cancel Carlson from the conservative movement by using words the woke left normally use when they attacked Carlson for “platforming” Fuentes.
Carlson appeared on the Piers Morgan show and argued that the principle of free speech and open debate were at stake if the woke right succeeded in canceling him simply because of who appeared on his show.
Carlson told Morgan that his critics are trying to impose European-style “hate speech” codes that criminalize political views in America.
“And Ben Shapiro and people in the administration would like to make that the law here. This is the last holdout of free speech on planet Earth, the United States. It’s encoded in our Constitution,” Carlson told Morgan.
Carlson argued it was his right as an American to question U.S. policy towards Israel and that the mob after him wanted to censor him solely because he disagreed with them about Israel.
“Also, I would say in the American DNA, we have a right to say whatever we believe is true. Period. And that very much includes criticism of a foreign country. You’ll never hear me saying from the river to the sea because I’m not exactly sure what that means. However, if I want to say from the river to the sea, I certainly will. And I’ll do that until I die because that’s my birthright. That’s a right given to me by God, not the U.S. government,” Carlson added.
Carlson expressed his dismay that Shapiro and his allies are trying to equate any criticism of Israel with anti-Semitism. which would then allow the government to punish offenders.
“And Ben Shapiro and a lot of these people are saying it out loud,” Carlson declared. “We need to penalize antisemites with the law. What does that even mean? You can never, in the United States, prosecute or even persecute someone for his beliefs. For your beliefs. You have the right of conscience in this country.”
Carlson hates anti-Semitism and has said many times his Christian beliefs don’t allow him to hate anyone based on their faith.
But that hasn’t stopped Shapiro from spamming social media and his podcast with falsehoods about Carlson.
Megyn Kelly came to Tucker Carlson’s defense, blasting Shapiro for leading a cancel mob.
“How many people have to go? Truly, how many people must be pulled from the conservative movement to make Ben happy? This is ridiculous, and it’s not just Ben; others take his lead once he calls you an antisemite or says you need to be kicked out of polite society … But he’s got some influence with some crew,” Kelly told listeners to her podcast. “This is so wrong. So good for Piers Morgan for fighting back, I am completely on Team Piers. And I’m sorry to see Ben going in this direction.”
This fight is really about control of a post-Trump GOP.
Ben Shapiro wants a Republican Party that looks more like the George Bush GOP.
Tucker Carlson hopes to continue the Trump agenda by electing J.D. Vance President.
