Fox News picked their side in the media’s war on President Trump.
It wasn’t the one Trump and his supporters were expecting.
And Fox News committed one act of betrayal that forced Trump to accept this reality.
Fox News Joins Press Pool Boycott
Fox News announced it was joining the other fake news media networks that make up the White House press pool in boycotting coverage of Trump in response to Trump banning leftist media outlets POLITICO, MS NOW, and CNN from the White House.
“Five television networks, including Fox News, agreed to suspend the presidential pool in response to the White House’s ban on CNN, Politico, and MS NOW, meaning the president’s trip to the United Nations General Assembly will go without a television crew providing video coverage, the Daily Wire.
Fox News D.C. Bureau Chief Bryan Boughton announced the boycott.
“This is to advise that, effective today, the TV pool will not be covering events designated as pool coverage of the President,” Boughton wrote in an email.
“This follows the White House’s position preventing CNN from fulfilling its assigned pool duties. There will be no replacement pool put in place,” Boughton added.
The White House press pool is a rotating group of networks that controls the camera feed covering Trump.
Media outlets fought back against Trump refusing to grant special access privileges to left-wing outlets by denying Trump coverage.
In a dispute with the media over their liberal bias, Fox chose their Trump-deranged left-wing colleagues.
Trump Bans the Fake News
Trump announced he was banning POLITICO, CNN, and MS NOW for their anti-Trump coverage.
“I am proud to announce that, effective immediately, I am banning Fake News CNN, MSNOW (who recently changed their name from MSNBC due to lack of viewership and credibility!), and Politico (The recipients of an illegal and ridiculous $8 Million Dollar subscription, an All Time Record, directly from the United States Government, under Crooked Joe Biden, in order to keep them “alive,” Trump wrote.
“Seems like corruption to me!), from the White House as a result of their constant “reporting” FAKE NEWS! Media Outlets shouldn’t be able to constantly write or report FICTION and LIES when they’re covering the President of the United States, the Trump Administration, or the United States of America. Other Fake News Media Outlets to follow. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump added.
The fake news outlets then took the step that every liberal group takes and ran to the nearest anti-Trump judge to file a lawsuit to restore their press access.
“This morning, we notified the government that we are filing a lawsuit today to protect our First Amendment rights and defend the principle that the government does not decide what the press reports or publishes,” a statement from the news outlets announcing the lawsuit read.. “Left unchallenged, this threatens press freedom and the public’s right to independent journalism free from government interference.”
And sure enough, D.C. District Court Judge Timothy Kelly, who threw the book at Trump supporters charged on January 6, issued an order restoring the fake news media’s White House access.
