Trump Bans Liberal Media from the White House
The fake news media waged a 10-year-long scorched-earth war against President Trump.
Media generated hoaxes about Russian collusion, Ukraine, and January 6, leading to special counsel and impeachment witch hunts.
Trump had enough and announced he was banning three of the worst fake news offenders – MS NOW, CNN, and POLITICO – from the White House.
“I am proud to announce that, effective immediately, I am banning Fake News CNN, MSNOW (who recently changed their name from MSNBC due to lack of viewership and credibility!), and Politico (The recipients of an illegal and ridiculous $8 Million Dollar subscription, an All Time Record, directly from the United States Government, under Crooked Joe Biden, in order to keep them “alive,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“Seems like corruption to me!), from the White House as a result of their constant “reporting” FAKE NEWS! Media Outlets shouldn’t be able to constantly write or report FICTION and LIES when they’re covering the President of the United States, the Trump Administration, or the United States of America,” Trump added.
There is no First Amendment right for the press to have access to Air Force One, the Oval Office or other areas of the White House that generally aren’t open to the public.
Trump’s move wasn’t an assault on the free press, as no President is more open with the press to answer questions than Trump.
Obama Responds
Obama couldn’t help but respond and expressed astonishment at Trump’s fake news media ban.
“My imagination could not foresee some of the stuff that’s going on right now. I believe there was just an announcement that the White House decided, you know what, CNN, MS NOW, maybe the New York Times was included, you just can’t come to the White House press briefings anymore because you’re giving the current president unfavorable coverage,” Obama said.
Obama then claimed Republicans would have lost their minds if he banned Fox News and other conservative media outlets from the White House when he was in office and claimed Trump supporters who agreed with the decision were a threat to democracy.
“I’m trying to think what would have happened if I had said, you know what, FOX News, get out of here. It’s unimaginable. But the point I’m making here is that if you have a certain cohort, let’s call it 30 to 35% of the country right now, which thinks that’s okay, well, what that means is we have not developed the kind of understanding of what democracy requires. And we’ve got to shore that back up. I don’t think that’s inevitable. I don’t think all is lost on that front. But we have to roll up our sleeves and get working,” Obama added.
The Truth

In 2009, Obama tried to freeze Fox News out of an interview the five White House pool broadcast networks were conducting with executive-pay czar Kenneth R. Feinberg.
