The smear campaign against Secretary of War Pete Hegseth never lets up.
But this was the worst of the worst.
And a CNN host’s unhinged attack on Pete Hegseth will leave you red with rage.
CNN’s Abby Phillip Demonstrates the Left’s Blindspot on Islam
On a recent broadcast of CNN’s Table for Five, Phillip whined that conservatives associate Muslims with terrorism when, according to her, the real threat was Christian nationalists like Pete Hegseth’s pastor Doug Wilson.
“It’s interesting to me that conservatives are quick to associate maybe the worst aspects of terrorists with Muslims, but then when you have Christian nationalists like that pastor who Pete Hegseth invited to the Pentagon — who thinks that women shouldn’t have the right to vote, that they should be subservient to their husbands, that they should stay at home and have babies — there’s no outcry about that,” Phillip stated. “I don’t understand why.”
The absurdity of Phillip’s comments was obvious to anyone with common sense.
Islamic terrorists, motivated by their Islamic beliefs, carried out the 9/11 terrorist attacks and murdered 2,977 innocent Americans.
Democrats are allied with Islam and Democrats hate Christians and hate white men, so they want to demonize Christian nationalists, which is why Phillip falsely claimed Muslims were victims of a scare campaign post 9/11 and the “real” terrorists were white Christians who want to preserve America’s heritage and culture.
To add to the farcical nature of the segment, panelist Nayeema Raza then went on to claim the real victims of the 9/11 terror attacks were Muslims.
“It was a scary time to be a Muslim… there was just a casual racism about things,” Raza whined.
The Defense of Sharia Law
Phillip didn’t stop there and went on to take issue with Republicans calling Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed for his adherence to Sharia law.
In his speech to the Republican Convention in Dallas, Texas, Senator Ted Cruz blasted El-Sayed for his stated “obligation to comply with Sharia law.
Phillip claimed Cruz took El-Sayed out of context.
But the Free Beacon reported that in 2009 El-Sayed told the New York Times that he would live every day of his life in a “Sharia-compliant way.”
“Ultimately, the question is, when I die, and I stand before God and go through everything I did in my life, I don’t want to say I did it the easy way instead of the Sharia-compliant way. Not because of fear but because of obligation,” El-Sayed said at the time.
Phillip moaned that Republicans were taking “this whole Sharia law thing takes [El-Sayed’s] comments out of context.”
Sharia law calls for death by stoning for adultery and execution for apostates.
Phillip looked the other way at El-Sayed’s adherence to Sharia law and tried to create a false equivalence between Christian nationalists and Islamic terrorists because the entire American left has been captured by a third-world mindset.
