And a former Fox News host made one Trump prediction that scared the hell out of CNN.
Gretchen Carlson Predicts ‘Insurrection’ if Trump Wins Kennedy Center Naming Fight
The left is fighting President Trump tooth-and-nail on every front in this second term.
One of the battles the left invested heavily in was forcing Trump to remove his name from the Kennedy Center.
Trump proposed a plan to renovate the Kennedy Center that included his name on the building.
Democrats sued because they would rather see the building remain in a dilapidated state than Trump get any credit for rebuilding an iconic American entertainment venue.
In response to the lawsuit, the Trump Justice Department argued that, in its current state, the Kennedy Center was unsound and couldn’t pass inspection, resulting in it being torn down.
Former Fox & Friends host Gretchen Carlson, who left the network and sued it for sexual harassment, took that simple statement of fact and falsely claimed Trump was planning on demolishing the Kennedy Center.
Carlson ranted that Americans would stage an “insurrection” if that happened.
“I was just going to say this is disrespectful. This is repugnant. I mean, the American people are completely tired of these shenanigans. He didn’t build this. First of all, I’m sorry to say, Howard Lutnick is not telling the truth, but Donald Trump did not build this, and he’s not going to tear it down, because the American people will have an insurrection over that,” Carlson ranted on CNN.
Carlson then claimed Trump was ignoring the economy to focus on vanity projects like vandalism at the Reflecting Pool or trolling Canada by renaming Lake Ontario as Lake America.
“And number three, the American people, I’m sure, love the fact that Howard Lutnick says that during the week, all Trump does is talk about building stuff. We’ve got a war in Iran that is not solved. He’s now naming Lake Ontario Lake America. He’s saying vandalism for the reflecting pool. He’s not talking about the economy. I mean, the American people at some point are going to have to show the frustration that I am showing right now,” Carlson added.

CNN is an anti-Trump, resistance network.
But Carlson’s rant about the American people taking up arms and attempting to overthrow Trump over the Kennedy Center was a line that Kasie Hunt knew should never be crossed.
Hunt admonished Carlson and assured viewers that no one was implying violence, even though Carlson had been raging about insurrection just prior.
“I do think we should be a little careful with the word insurrection, just because it does imply violence that right now, no one’s implying,” Hunt stated.
CNN spent years bombarding Americans with the hoax that Trump incited an insurrection on January 6.
Now CNN is having to play damage control after a guest tried to frame an anti-Trump insurrection as an act of heroism.
